Candy Doll lipstick and lipgloss [review]

Sorry for the late update. I pretty busy with assignments and event at the moment so ~~ yea xDD

Today's review~ Candydoll's lipgloss in cotton candy and lipstick in ramune pink.

I'll start with the lipstick first.

It can stand. Sadly the description behind the product is written in Japanese... i have no idea what the ingredients is ...

The strips makes it look kinda ... cheap and fragile (it feels fragile cause it's made of plastic and light metal)... but it's not fragile at all ! I dropped it 3 times and it still looks the same!!! xD #true story

This is how the colour looks like, it's looks very nude ~ suitable for gyaru make up.

So this is how it looks like on my lips ~  it feels matte and looks matte ~ Not dehydrating but not moisturising as well ~

so this is how i looks like with the lipstick on. I was standing under the sun light so it looks pale ~ But this colour can drive others attention towards your eyes.

Now time for lipgloss in cotton candy !

The design of the product is similar with their lipstick, strips ~ feels plastic and average ~ 

Here's the sponge applicator.  Sadly, the stopper that is suppose to stop the lipgloss from sticking onto the applicator is a failure.

SWATCHES TIME ! =D

So here's swatches of lipgloss and the lipstick. Their pigmentation is quite good, lipgloss looks juicy ~

So this is how i looks like with the lipgloss on ~ It looks juicy right ? (and feel sticky too).

This lipgloss is superb sticky ... When you first apply it, it looks so dollish ! #loves

I wore it in my Akiyama Mio cosplay during Animax carnival 2013. It disappears after 3 hours i need to reapply it ~

The price was quite reasonable because i got them during Sasa's anniversary sales.

Weekend activities ~

Ho ho ho, konnichiwa !! Weekends passed so quickly ~~ o(╥﹏╥)o Imma will miss it !

hehehe... I did a lot of things during this weekend ~~

I brought this fake Konad in KL and it didnt work at all !! ヽ(｀Д´)ﾉ It's a waste of money ! thank goodness it's not that expensive... Later, i threw it away ~

So today i brought a cupboard cause my old one is kinda ... broken ... =_=" the doors almost flatten me !!! T^T

So... i brought a new one ~(=w=~) it's a mix of magenta and white ~ I have to DIY it myself ~~ and it's my first time DIY-ing something ~~ 

This is the box of cupboard i have to DIY, there's the hammer i found in my dad's toolbox. xD

After opening it, i checked all the tools and i started to work !!!! ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ﾉ

Half progress ~~ I hammered and screwed a lot of stuff and it looks kinda nice ~ 

Now it's 80% completed !!! ლ(｀ー´ლ) muahahahha ~

I seriously dont know what is that thing that i must screw in the back and corner of the cupboard~~ I just screwed it anyway ~~ ≧◡≦

This knob... a very stubborn knob that hates screws ... (ಠ_ರೃ) I have to ask my sister and brother to help me with this one .... and my sister accidentally stab herself with the screwdriver (◕︵◕)

I finished building this in an hour i guess xDD Feel so satisfied !

Dollywink Eyeshadow in brown 01 [review]

Heya! That is me with neko ears !!! ＼(^ω^＼) In these pictures i am trying to achieve a neko that is desperate for freedom. [giggles

and also.... Sorry about the long-time-no-posting-stuff. ;)

Now -drum hits- Here's a review of my fave brand, Dollywink's eyeshadow in brown!!

(For this review, I did not do any lighting editing so that you can get a good look of the colours)

Origin: Made in Japan

Code: 01

Weight: 0.7oz/20g

Ingredients: water (aqua), alcohol denat., petroleum distillates, sorbitol, dimethyl ether and etc.

Packaging: This is the old packaging, if you refer to the first picture there's a brochure that shows y'all the latest packaging. The old one is in black while new one is in brown. I see no difference in the content. (◕‿◕✿) There's no mirror inside and the plastic is ordinary. It even comes with a cute little sponge applicator. (•‿•) Also, it's palm size so it's convenient for you to carry around.

Design: The colour design is very natural. It's suitable for any occasion ! (ﾟヮﾟ)

Quality: (〃^∇^)ﾉ here is the handy applicator. A small tip and a bigger tip.

Here are the swatches ~ (●´ω｀●) There would be different result when you use different applicators. If you used sponge applicators the colours turn out to be more pigmented comparing brush applicator.

It seems to be semi-matte. If you're in indoor it seem to be matte, but when there's stronger lights that shines on the eyeshadow then you'll see shimmers. (─‿‿─)

Here is how it looks like on my eyelids. (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ Do you see the matte and shimmer side of this eyeshadow ? 

My eyelids can be pretty oily sometimes. I tried once using only the eyeshadow on my eyelids without applying anything as base, and it smudge by the end of the day. However, if you use liquid foundation or concealer on your eyelid before applying the eyeshadow then it can last for a long long time. I wore it during my presentation a few days ago and it lasts on my eyelids for 9 hours. (ღ˘◡˘ღ) 

Water test

So it stays even if you splash water on it. If you accidentally get caught in the rain, just dab the water away and it wont smudge. DO NOT RUB.

Another example is ... when i watched a movie with my family and I cried o(╥﹏╥)o after that it still stayed. 

eye and lip make up remover test

Now it's removing itself when I dropped some eye make up remover on them. Which means it's safe. (●*∩_∩*●) 

I found some eyeshadows that won't remove itself even if you dropped remover on them ... （ﾟДﾟ）Those eyeshadows might damage your precious eyelids if you use them too much. Thank goodness Koji's products isn't really hard to remove.

Price:  Quite expensive if you asked me cause you can simply get a 30 coloured eyeshadow palette with this price. (-’๏_๏’-) Anyhow, it's safe and easy to remove. So ~ i guess it's alright~

A long day (~=3=)~

So yesterday I was at college the WHOLE day ... (at least i were there since 12pm .... until 10:30pm) ... Gosh, it was so exhausting ! My mum have annual dinner with her colleagues so i went to walk around the mall beside my college with my sister ~ We brought lots of junk too xPP

See that cat wire thingy i pointed at ? That was brought from Daiso and it's pretty much useless ... (=_=") So i brought a new one yesterday ~ !
Dorayaki ~~ ♪＼(*＾▽＾*)／＼(*＾▽＾*)／

See how useful this one is ?! It can roll up the wire without letting it loose. That black cat was just a waste of money ! ⋋_⋌ AND it reminds me of my fave cat ~ DORAEMON ! ❤

(づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ So this is a stick concealer from Rimmel ~ I brought it from Watson cause it was on discount~ I wanted a stick concealer since N years ago ~ and since this one is on promo, i just grab it! (◕‿◕✿)

P/s: they really need to work on their packaging design ... (=_=")

Junk#3

Sleeping mask !!! (▰˘◡˘▰) I had one ~ It was broken cause ... i kinda iron it ... and it burns .... ( '-' ) So i brought a new one !!!! So that i can sleep when i travels ~ (I love travelling !)

LOL ~ I know i know, i brought lots of junks ~ But hey ! Add up all of these items it's not expensive ~ So i am really happy i brought them ! ＼(^ω^＼)

CNY hair style ;)

I actually have the courage to cut this fringe !!! T^T Finally! I feel so successful ! Anyway, i dyed my hair too . =) I didnt have the money to go to a salon so i dyed it with Schwarzkopf champage pink, that i mentioned in my previous post. I like that brand a lot ! The last one i used is Revlon, and believe me ... your hair turned coarse after one usage D=

This brand (the one i am using now) doesn't coarse your hair that much and you can actually see the colour ~ (even though i see no pink, yet)

There's another good news ! I am on February 2013 issue of Mina's magazine !

This is my "article" !!! =D

A small column for me ! I suggested their readers to wear ribbons during Valentine's day so they'll look cuter !!! xD (me on the left hand side of the picture) That picture was taken right after i came back from Comic Fiesta, and PHEW ! that was an exhausting day. =P

I am shooooo happy today ! I can't believe I was actually on a magazine ! xDD hahaha !!!

Anyway, i went to KL last weekend for the CNY decos. It's so pretty there ! I got myself a pair of sneakers  too ! I have to apologize to my feet for wearing overly cheap and low quality shoes ... =_=" My toe nail got broken from wearing a pair of fake crocs.... -sigh-

Anyhow, i am in a CNY mood now !!! One more week till CNY !!! heheheh ~ I can get to see my cousins !!! (after i finished my assignments... that is).

Another random weekend

So ~~ Chinese New Year is almost here and I have to re-dye my hair ... 

I remember the last time i dyed my hair was last year's CNY ..... ~(=w=~) Such a long long time ago ~~ So this time, after reading tons of magazines and blog posts i've decided to dye a pink-related colour ! It looks sweet ~~ =D After a long decision making, i brought this:

I seriously do not know whether this brand is good or not~~ But the sale girl said there's free gifts and it's on promotion and i just go and buy it ... =P LOL

Will dye my hair before i go back to hometown. xD I wanna do something crazy this time xD Bwhahahahah~

I have to take a close up of this mirror ! =D It's soooooo adorable !!!! Even the sales girl want it ! xD Hahaha ! I wonder how people pronounce this brand's name .... it's Schwarzkopf ?? O_o a weird name ~~

Got these make up workshop vouchers from the Food Festival in Mid Valley ~ I wonder how make up is related with food ... =_=" They just give you one voucher after you register for the lucky draw... =P

Dollywink False Lash No.4 (Feminine Style) [Review]

Story of this box of lashes

I got my first attempt to try Dollywink's upper lashes when i went to their Tea Party last December. It's the same day as Comic Fiesta ! So i went to their tea party after i finished browsing through booths in the event.

When I notice there's so many new products of Dollywink on the table, i almost faint~~ I was soooooo happy !!!!! It's like my dream to try their upper false lash ! =D

Saw Comic Fiesta's ticket on my wrist ? Hehehehe ~ I go and open the eyeshadows since i realize they allow us to try them out. There's new packaging and colours. Smoke brown, pink brown and (same old) brown.

The one that is standing in front is the one who taught us how to make up, the girl that is sitting there is her model.

I used the fastest speed to try on  No.2 (Sweet girly) [my fave design] when they say: "Time for false lashes !".

It's like the happiest moment of my life !!! I can't afford them, but now i can try them on ! (happying)

Too bad i have to leave earlier... LRT will be full of people if i dont go by that time ... T^T If only i can stay for the Q and A session .... T^T (cries hard).

Anyhow, they gave me a goodie bag and there's a box of Dollywink's No.4 laying inside ! (*O*) Seriously... that is the best present ever .... I love you Koji !!!!!

Packaging: Daisies make the packaging looked so much more mature and feminine compared to the last one. Less gyaru and look more casual.  Oh yeah, there's a lot of fake Dollywink on the internet, so please be careful. Genuine Dollywink have a sticker on the front of the package and a secure thingy near the top of the packaging, so it will be a little hard to open .

After you open it, there's a small plastic box that contain the lash. It's actually travel-friendly. You dont need to buy a lash box to put your lashes in. Just take this box and you're ready to go. =D

Small glue comes in handy when you can't find your lash glue, plus, there's no need to purposely go and buy another lash glue when there's already one inside the box. xD 

(note: this glue is not waterproof)

There's one instruction manual inside the package to teach people how to wear falsie in Japanese ..... (=_=") I dont know how to read them ...... =P

(Upper lash: No.4 Feminine Style ; Lower lash: No.5 Real Nude)
(Up: no contact lens ; Down: with contact lens)
Quality: Excellent ! This lash is extra soft ! So soft that it's very easy to be bend into your eye shape.
This baby looks good even if you are not wear any contact lens ! So no worries for people that does not wear lens. ;)
Besides, it blend really well with my natural lashes.

Since it's very soft, that makes it feels fragile.... but it only feels fragile, it's actually not. After every usage, you just need to clean the glue off and it looks as good as new !
These pair of lashes have no weight~~ So your eyelids won't feel tired and heavy when wearing them.

Design: The design makes you look good in any occasion ! It's so natural ! Because it's longer at the end, so it'll make your eyes look longer and wider.

Price: One word, expensive !
Anyhow, after using it, i felt the price is kinda worth it ... (=///=) You can reuse it a lot of times as long as you're being careful during the cleaning part~~
